Mandatory Modules

1. Contemporary Issues in Education: Theory, Policy and Practice (T/617/4998): 20 UK Credits / 10 ECTS Credits.

  • Analyze contemporary changes in educational theory, policy, and practice, identifying key factors influencing stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the impact of policy and legislative changes on teaching, learning, and assessment, focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Examine models and strategies for managing quality in education and addressing external and internal challenges effectively.

2. The Management of Educational Change (A/617/4999): 20 UK Credits / 10 ECTS Credits.

  • Develop and implement effective change strategies that address stakeholder concerns and resource allocation.
  • Research the need for change in an educational organisation.

3. Managing Effective Intercultural Communication and Perspectives (D/617/5000): 20 UK Credits / 10 ECTS Credits.

  • Understand the importance of intercultural communication in education, analyzing cultural dimensions and barriers.
  • Develop skills to manage stereotyping, ethnocentrism, and other challenges to foster effective intercultural interactions.
  • Lead and facilitate positive intercultural communication practices to enhance inclusivity and diversity in educational settings.

4. Pedagogy and Practice in Education (H/617/5001): 20 UK Credits / 10 ECTS Credits.

  • Understand subject pedagogy and evaluate teaching, learning, and assessment approaches to improve engagement and outcomes.
  • Develop an understanding of how knowledge, policy, and practice intersect to inform pedagogical strategies.
  • Apply theories of pedagogy to enhance professional practice and foster inclusive, effective learning environments.

5. Leading Reflective Practice in Education (K/617/5002): 20 UK Credits / 10 ECTS Credits.

  • Develop reflective practice skills through self-assessment, feedback, and the creation of personal development plans.
  • Facilitate and lead reflective practice to promote continuous professional growth and improve educational outcomes.

6. Research Methods in Education (M/617/5003): 20 UK Credits / 10 ECTS Credits.

  • Understand the role of research in education and evaluate methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative approaches.
  • Develop a comprehensive research proposal with ethical considerations, data collection methods, and clear objectives.
  • Analyze and interpret research data to inform evidence-based decision-making and improve educational practices.
Assignments:
  • Complete 6 written assignments (4,000-4,500 words each) based on the module titles.

Admission
Entry Requirement:
  • Bachelor’s qualifications in majors from accredited universities; or
  • Level 6 in EQF or equivalent.
English Requirement:
  • Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR): Level B2; or
  • IELTS: Overall score of 5.5, with Reading and Writing at 5.5; or
  • Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic): Score of 51.

As a program mapped to National Occupational Standards, along with the supplemental knowledge system, students can engage in self-study through interactive lessons, attend webinars, and take online tests to earn 06 Level 7 e-ProCerts. Each ProCert reflects Level 7 (Master Level), outlines the Learning Outcomes, and provides certification upon completion.

If students wish to convert their e-ProCerts to hard copies, they can use an optional service for a minimal fee.
