Program Introduction

The Level 3 SwissUK® Foundation Diploma in People and Organisations provides fundamental knowledge of the management of people and the structure, values, and behaviours of organisations. The programme covers planning, teamworking, and leadership, while also encouraging critical thinking. It provides a strong foundation for career development or further study in management, business, or organisational development.

This Level 3 qualification is positioned within the UK Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and is assessed in academic terms as being equivalent to GCE AS/A Levels. Upon completion, learners may progress to undergraduate programmes, subject to the admission requirements of the receiving institution, or enter employment at an appropriate level.

Mandatory Modules

1. Organisation Structures and their Culture and Values (H/618/6113): 10 UK Credits/ 20 ECTS Credits

  • Gain an understanding of how the structure of an organisation influences its effectiveness and the role of values in achieving organizational outcomes.
  • Explore the interrelationship between organizational values, culture, and behaviors impacting organizational performance.

2. Principles of Organisational Planning (K/618/6114): 10 UK Credits/ 20 ECTS Credits

  • Understand the critical role of planning within an organization and the influence of both internal and external factors on the planning process.
  • Examine strategies for achieving organizational objectives and managing risks effectively.

3. Managing Human Resources (M/618/6115): 10 UK Credits/ 20 ECTS Credits

  • Develop knowledge of human resources management practices and their impact on organizational effectiveness.
  • Explore different methods and strategies for recruiting, selecting, and managing staff in alignment with organizational policies and laws.

4. Personal and Professional Development (D/618/6109): 10 UK Credits/ 20 ECTS Credits

  • Recognize the importance of ongoing personal and professional development and identify resources and activities to support growth.
  • Assess and plan personal development activities that align with career goals and job requirements.

5. Working in Teams (T/618/6116): 10 UK Credits/ 20 ECTS Credits

  • Analyze the benefits and challenges of teamwork in achieving tasks and the dynamics of working in a team environment.
  • Understand the importance of a shared code of conduct for effective team collaboration and performance.

6. Leadership and Management Skills (A/618/6117): 10 UK Credits/ 20 ECTS Credits

  • Differentiate between leadership and management roles and their impact on organizational culture and performance.
  • Develop an understanding of various management and leadership styles and their appropriate application in different organizational contexts.

Assignments:
  • Complete 6 written assignments (2,000–3,000 words each) based on the module titles.

Admission
Entry Requirements:
  • Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
  • Completion of full secondary education is required.
English Requirements:
  • Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR): Level B2; or
  • IELTS: Overall score of 5.5, with Reading and Writing at 5.5; or
  • Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic): Score of 51.
Level 3 e-ProCerts

As a program mapped to National Occupational Standards, along with the supplemental knowledge system, students can engage in self-study through interactive lessons, attend webinars, and take online tests to earn 06 Level 3 e-ProCerts. Each e-ProCert reflects Level 3 (Foundation Level), outlines the Learning Outcomes, and provides certification upon completion.

If students wish to convert their e-ProCerts to hard copies, they can use an optional service for a minimal fee.
