Upon completing the program, graduates receive two independently accredited qualifications:

Program Introduction

The Diploma in Airlines Cabin Crew Services (MQA/PA 16847) from Swiss Diploma prepares students for careers as professional cabin crew, focusing on customer service, safety procedures, and airline operations. The program combines theory and hands-on training in body language, communication etiquette, service techniques, and aviation knowledge. Students gain skills in presentation, ethical service, and industry-specific practices, along with insights into air transport operations, aviation trends, and regulatory frameworks.

Each subject combines theory with practical tools like case studies, discussions, projects, and real-world insights from lecturers. In the final semester, industrial training helps students apply their knowledge in a real work setting, equipping them with the skills and experience employers seek.

Delivered 100% onsite at NMUC campus in Malaysia, through two separate one-week sessions.

  • Phase 1: First Onsite Session (1 Week)
    • Personal Grooming: Practice in makeup, uniform presentation, physical appearance, and professional demeanor.
    • Food Services in the Airline Industry: Hands-on training on inflight meal preparation, presentation, and serving techniques.
    • Customer Service and Passenger Interaction: Practical scenarios for handling passenger communication and managing service excellence.
  • Phase 2: Second Onsite Session (1 Week)
    • Medical Emergencies Onboard the Aircraft: Simulated emergency response training and basic first aid techniques.
    • Special Procedures for Inflight Contingencies: Emergency preparedness for scenarios such as fire, emergency landings, or passenger disruptions.
    • Crew Responsibility and Cooperation: Teamwork exercises, communication drills, and coordination in cabin crew operations.
3. Additional Learning Activity

Aviation Industrial Visit – Coordinated field experience in a real world aviation environment.

Learning model

The program is 2 years course delivered in an asia-campus model, combining Full Online with study abroad at NMUC campus with support from an academic support system. This learning model enhances the learning experience and outcomes, offering a flexible and effective solution for busy professionals.

Admission
Entry Requirement:
  • Having NQF / QCF / RQF Level 3 Diploma or its equivalent
English Requirement:
  • Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR): Level B2; or
  • IELTS: Overall score of 5.5, with Reading and Writing at 5.5; or
  • Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic): Score of 51.

  • Free from any wound, injury or sequelae from operation or any effect or side-effect of any prescribed or non-prescribed therapeutic, diagnostic or preventive medication taken, such as would entail a degree of functional incapacity which is likely to interfere with the safe operation of an aircraft or with the safe performance of duties.
